UPCOMING EVENTS!
All Events (except Boomers Night) will be held in the Spanish River High School Band Room 3106
Band Classes offered at Spanish River High School:
Intermediate Band “Symphonic Band” previous band experience required (no audition)
Advanced Band “Wind Ensemble” (audition required- see below)
Band 7th period “Percussion Ensemble” the band class for all percussionists/drummers
Color Guard (the flag, rifle, sabre team that is an auxiliary group to the marching band)
Jazz Band (enrollment in one of the band classes and an audition are required. Find audition materials at www.spanishriverband.com)
Marching Band is not a class but enrollment in a band class is required. Students in Marching Band receive honors credit for their band class, a PE waiver of the Team Sports requirement, opportunities to earn community service hours, and A Lot of FUN!!!
